Brockville Police charged a 38-year-old man after a foot pursuit that left one officer with minor injuries early Thursday morning.
City police got a call at 1:20 about a possible impaired driver on Front Avenue; a vehicle was reportedly all over the road.
The driver fled on foot when officers arrived, police reported later Thursday. The suspect was arrested a short time later. An officer was sent to hospital after suffering a minor injury during the foot pursuit.
The licence plates did not match the vehicle; they reportedly belong to a local company. The vehicle will be impounded for 45 days because the accused is a disqualified driver, police said.
The man has been charged with impaired driving (drug), possession of property obtained by crime and driving while disqualified.
