LEEDS OPP INVESTIGATING PLANE CRASH

(LEEDS, ON) – On Saturday, July 10, 2021 at approximately 10:45 a.m., Leeds County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single engine plane crash near a residence at Lower Leaf Oak Road, Athens Township.

The male 57 year old pilot was pronounced deceased at scene and the passenger was taken by Leeds and Grenville Paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.

Leeds County OPP and the Technical Support Branch remain at the scene.
