OPP’S COMMUNITY STREET CRIME UNIT EXECUTE SEARCH WARRANT

(PEMBROKE, ON) – Two area residents are facing drug charges after a search warrant was executed at a residence in Pembroke. On June 8, 2022, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Renfrew County Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Ottawa Police Service executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence on Cecil Street in the City of Pembroke. As a result of the search warrant police located and seized a quantity of suspected fentanyl. Two individuals were arrested at the scene.

As a result of the investigation 38-year-old Ryan Charles GRIFE of Eganville and 49-year-old Kerry Ann STITT of Pembroke have each been charged with the following CDSA offence:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance – fentanyl

The accused persons were released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on July 26, 2022.
